☕️CLOSED SUNDAYS☕️

We’ve made the decision to close on Sundays a little earlier than we expected.

The Sunday team have been brilliant throughout summer and will always thank them for their hard work but for now we just need that one day a week to slow down, spend some much-needed time with our families and recharge ready to do it all again.

BUT… this might not be the end of Seven Sundays until next year 👀☕️ We’re already thinking about possibly bringing them back for winter…❄️

As always, thank you SO much for continuing to support our little coffee shop.

Hi All! Jo here...

I dont often post about fundraising or charities etc but this is someone I have been following a little while now and deserves some extra recognition.

Remember the bucket challenge? For MND? How everyone shared posts for the awareness- well im asking you all to take a look at this post like and share and, if at all possible, you can donate a little then please do.

One of customers currently has a son called Mike who takes fundraising very seriously for MND - definitely harder challenges than the bucket challe nge. Hes highly entertaining as hes walked mountains in speedos and flip flops, travelled to france on a chopper bike from his home town Hull and run a marathon in sking boots!

Hes now doing the ultimate challenge of of running the ENTIRE LENGTH OF SOUTH AMERICA!

It's a 200-page book celebrating what’s special about Scarborough with stories, what to do, profiles of local people, where to eat and special places - produced by people who live and work here.

The guide is beautifully illustrated with lots of photos and insights. It’s a collaboration between This Is Scarborough (a not-for-profit organisation) & Scarborough Spy.

And we want your opinions!

Honestly, what is wrong with people?!😡

We’ve just had two people come into Seven, sit and have food, and then afterwards make their way down our alleyway to our outside seating area and attempt to steal our plants and garden decorations.

They had actually moved and hidden the items at the front of the coffee shop, ready to take them away.

As a small independent business, this is absolutely gutting. We work incredibly hard to make Seven a lovely, welcoming place for our customers, including spending our own money and time making our outside areas look nice.

To think that someone can sit in our coffee shop, eat our food, and then decide to help themselves to things that don’t belong to them is honestly unbelievable.

Thankfully, they didn’t get away with it, but that’s really not the point. These things cost money, and more importantly, they aren’t yours to take.

It’s such a shame that we even have to write a post like this. We have some absolutely amazing customers who support us every day, but unfortunately there are still people who think this sort of behaviour is acceptable.

Please respect small businesses. We work hard for everything we have.

Our Kitchen is back open🍳🥓

We are still a little short staffed so please bare with us during busy periods today there may be a small wait for food and drinks.
