Can somebody please have a word with the weather? 😅

Mornings we leave the house thinking ☀️ summer dress, flip flops and an iced coffee… by lunchtime we’re considering 🧥 a winter coat, snow boots and a hot chocolate!

Honestly, we don’t know whether we’re hot coffees or iced coffees, matchas or coolers, fresh salads or a big cosy bowl of warming bolognese. The weather can’t make its mind up, and neither can we!

Thankfully, at Wilson’s Food Hall, you don’t have to choose a season, we’ve got something for every kind of weather mood.

Best of luck to Wilsons Food Hall and Happy Barista as they proudly represent Yorkshire at the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) and HSBC National Final at The Savoy in London tonight.

Following their success at last month’s Yorkshire, Humber & North East Federation of Small Businesses and HSBC Small Business Growth Awards in Leeds, against strong competition Wilsons Food Hall were named Start Up Business of the Year, while Happy Barista received the Micro Business Award.

Since opening in Seamer, near Scarborough, in November 2024, Wilsons Food Hall has quickly become a standout destination, with its in-house bakery, deli, extensive wine selection and welcoming bistro, earning a loyal following from residents and visitors alike.

Based in Pannal, Harrogate, Happy Barista has been roasting its own coffee since 2021, sharing its passion through a popular mobile coffee pod at events and markets across the region.

Wishing both teams every success this evening as they showcase the very best of Yorkshire on the national stage.
