I need send a massive thank you to everyone who engaged, shared my post and left reviews, following on from my plea last night! 🥰❤️ It’s hugely appreciated and makes such a big difference to a small business tucked away on Nares Street!

To all the new followers - I post what’s on the night before I open, which always includes a special sandwich. This week we have two new ones…..that are poles apart!

First up:
A real autumnal treat - THE CHICKEN COBBLER 🍂
Chicken cooked in thick homemade gravy, Cheesy Cobbler baked on top, a sprinkle of crunchy onions, with mini roasts on the base. Perfect before a cosy afternoon food coma! 😉

Next up (Vegan/Veggie):
THE ROAST CHILLI 🌶️
Freshly baked cherry tomatoes, garlic and green chillies - a cross between salsa and sweet chilli jam, served over hash browns and baby spinach with your choice of vegan mayo or roast garlic mayo. It’s fiery hot 🥵 (well I think!)

We’ve got all our regular sandwiches, so there’s definitely something for everyone!

I have a little favour to ask…

Thursdays and Saturdays have brought in some lovely regular customers, but as many of you know, Nares Street is a bit off the beaten track and people simply don't know we’re here!

I’m appealing to our wonderful community to help get The Corner Kitchen’s name out there. I’m not asking you to come in and spend money (although that would be fantastic!) ~ just a moment of your time to help us spread the word.

Fridays are absolute madness (which tells me we’re doing something right!) but I’d love for more people to discover what we do on Thursdays and Saturdays too. I’d be so sad to have to scale back to Fridays only, so I'm appealing to each and every one of you to help me.

How you can help in 30 seconds:

1. Share this post to your page or local community groups.

2. Leave us a quick Google or Facebook review if you’ve enjoyed our sandwiches or bakes ~ reviews make a massive difference for small independent spots!

Comments after posts are so lovely and great for the algorithms but they don’t count as reviews and people rely on reviews for reassurance!💙🙏

3. Tell a colleague, friend or simply folk who work nearby about what food we do and that we now have seating!
