🍕🐒 WHAT A NIGHT! 🎶🌻
What an amazing night at Sunflower Farm Music Night!
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came along and bought a pizza from us. ❤️🍕 And an even bigger thank you to everyone who waited patiently while we battled through the orders and caught up! 😅
It was brilliant to see so many hungry faces — and we're sorry if you had to wait a little longer than planned. We're still learning, improving and getting quicker every time we take the trailer out!
🎶 Jo & Richard sounded absolutely fantastic, and judging by the crowd, we weren't the only ones who thought so! What a great atmosphere. 🎸👏
A massive thank you to Ian & Josie for inviting Cheesy Monkey along. We loved being part of it and really hope we can do it all again.
And finally… Tilly (Matilda) deserves a huge shout-out! ❤️
She worked her socks off keeping the orders flowing, keeping me organised and, frankly, keeping me on the right track! 😂🍕
We're already looking forward to the next event…

🎸🍕 FRIDAY NIGHT PLANS? WE'VE GOT YOU COVERED! 🍕🎸

This Friday, 28th August, Cheesy Monkey is heading to Sunflower Park for a night of live music, good food and hopefully a few cold drinks!

🎶 Fake Notes will be performing live, and we'll be there serving up our freshly made pizzas throughout the evening.

So grab your mates, bring your appetite and come along for what promises to be a cracking Friday night! 🍕🐒🎶

Beautiful remote campsite with toilet, shower & laundry facilities. Dogs welcome. We have rescue animals. Bird boxes, logs, benches for sale. On site shop.

A few more trailer tweaks… 🍕🐒

The Cheesy Monkey resto never stops evolving!

I’ve moved the water tank to the rear of the trailer to (hopefully!) improve the weight distribution and make towing a little happier. 🤞

And finally… the Cheesy Monkey acrylic sign is installed! 😍

I think you’ll agree, it looks absolutely fantastic and really finishes off the interior.

A little tour of our little kitchen

A little bit of trailer drama… 👀

We’ve got some exciting dates coming up for Cheesy Monkey, and we’re really looking forward to getting out there and feeding some hungry people! 🍕🐒

BUT… there’s a small issue we need to sort first.

We’ve been doing a bit of investigating with the trailer, and towing it isn’t quite behaving the way we want it to. It’s perfectly possible to tow it, but “possible” isn’t really good enough when we’re going to be travelling to different venues with a whole pizza kitchen behind us!

So before we start announcing too much, we’re going to get to the bottom of it and make sure the trailer is towing properly, safely and comfortably.

There’s a bit of fettling, testing and probably a few choice words ahead… 😂

Once we’re happy with it, we’ll be back on the road and we’ve got some cracking things planned.

Dates are coming. 🍕🔥

Can This Work? 🍕

Well… YES. We think it can! 😂🍕

Last night was our first proper night of getting Cheesy Monkey out there — not quite an official opening, more of a “let’s see if this mad idea actually works” night.

We were incredibly lucky to be offered a spot at The Gamekeeper in Scotter, (huge thanks to Tony and his staff) and what happened from the moment we opened the hatch was honestly amazing.

Friends, family and pub customers came along, bought pizzas, gave us loads of encouragement and, most importantly, ate the pizzas! 😂

From 8pm until 10.30pm we didn't stop cooking. The oven was running, orders were coming in and I was scratching away making pizzas as fast as I could.

A massive thank you to Crystal 💓 and Matilda ❤️, who were the faces of Cheesy Monkey last night while I disappeared behind the hatch and concentrated on making and cooking the pizzas. ❤️ And a big thanks to Emilia 🩵for not only buying pizzas but creating the fab pics you see here. (More to come soon)

We learnt loads. There are things we'll tweak, things we'll improve and definitely a few things we'll do differently next time. That's exactly what last night was about.

But the biggest takeaway?

It works. And we absolutely loved it.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came down, bought a pizza, tried our food, complimented the trailer, asked questions, or simply stopped to tell us that we were doing a good job.

Every single bit of encouragement meant a lot.

This little idea that started with “I wonder if we could…” suddenly felt very real last night.

So… Cheesy Monkey is officially on its way. 🐒🍕
