🐾 We’ve recently welcomed this little lady into our home ❤️

Sadly she lost her owner and has now come to live with us. It’s obviously been a massive change for her, with a new home, new people and a completely different routine, so we’re just giving her plenty of time to settle in.

She’s doing really well, although we have had a few little accidents on the carpet along the way 😂

Which actually gives me the perfect excuse to share one of my favourite simple cleaning tips.

Bicarbonate of soda!

Once you’ve cleaned up the accident and the carpet is dry, sprinkle a good amount of bicarb over the area, leave it for at least 15 minutes (I tend to leave it longer) and then give it a really good vacuum.

It’s such a simple way of helping to get rid of any lingering smells and is one of those products that has so many different uses around the house, this time I’ve added a few drops of lavender essential oil drops to leave a lovely fresh smell. We have a full range of AmourNatural for sale also. All natural essential oil with no nasties.

This one’s a good oil.

We've seen lots of noise on social media recently about seed oils and their effect on your health. To try and explain some common misconceptions, we wanted to re share our blog post about what's actually in our Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil.

Our oil is cold-pressed, meaning it isn't processed with hexane or any other additives. This also means the oil keeps all it's Omega-3s and Vitamin E, and with lower levels of saturated fats, it's a healthier alternative to other highly processed cooking oils.
