🌾 The first of this year’s hay is officially in the barn! 🌾
The 2026 hay season is underway, and we’re pleased to have the first crop safely baled and stored.
Yields are looking better than last year, although it’s still a mixed bag depending on the fields. We’ve now updated our website with this season’s hay, and we also still have a limited amount of last season’s 6-string hay available for anyone wanting to keep their horses on older hay for a little while longer before changing over.
We’re also pleased to say that we’ve reduced the price of this season’s hay to reflect the improved first cut. However, these prices may change later in the season once we have a clearer picture of overall yields. We hope you’ll appreciate that, despite reducing prices where we can, the cost of producing hay continues to rise, with fertiliser and diesel prices significantly higher than in previous years.
Finally, we’d like to say a huge thank you to all of our customers, both new and returning, for your continued support. We’re incredibly proud to have supplied hay right through one of the most challenging seasons in recent years, and we couldn’t have done it without your loyalty.
Here’s to a safe harvest, good weather, and plenty more hay in the barn! ☀️🚜🌾
