Your adventure begins at the Merchant’s Post where you’ll receive your official quest map and be initiated into the secrets of the gardens.

Honestly, every single new like, follow, comment, and message still baffles me. We don’t see ourselves as anything special, and we certainly don’t pretend to be something we’re not. We’re just like you.

We work full-time jobs to provide for our family while creating content as a hobby. We make mistakes, we have our own health struggles, we get angry, frustrated, excited, and disappointed. At the end of the day, we’re basically your next-door neighbours with a camera.

What an outstanding surprise birthday weekend this turned out to be.

Not just staying at the beautiful Boulevard hotel, or eating delicious food at Umami or Coasters but the real treat of it all was the people we got to share it with.

No big long post about how fantastic these people are (because they already know that I think they are), but just a post to say thank you all for being you.

The content creator space and the people in it can be a rough place to hang your hat sometimes, but regardless, I’m so glad for the people I’ve met whilst creating content, thank you all for accepting this grumpy old Yorkshireman into the fold, and thank you for an amazing weekend.

I remember people telling me when Luci was pregnant that our freedom, and essentially our life as we knew it, was over because our sole focus would be on a child.

They honestly couldn’t have been more wrong.

Parenthood is the biggest adventure you’ll ever go on. There’s joy, heartbreak, ups, downs, moments of terror, moments of immense pride, times when you question your sanity, and times when you feel like you’re king of world, and a whole heap of feelings in between.

Every adventure we’ve been on has been elevated because not only do we get to experience things ourselves, we get to experience them through the pure heart and eyes of Henry too.

I don’t care if you’re a food dad, a theme park dad, a dad who’s made mistakes, or a dad who’s somehow managed perfection. Whether you’re a full-time dad or only get to see your children a few times a week, if you’re putting them at the heart of everything you do, you’re a fu***ng champion in my eyes.

And Today is for you. 🤘🏻🔥

What a fantastic belated birthday surprise. A night in the stunning Boulevard Hotel with a beautiful little birthday cake waiting for me on arrival.

Then an evening meal and a few drinks some amazing people. Thank you Jonathan Ingham and Coaster Dad (and Jonathan’s amazing partner Isobel) for a wonderful night.

You really are a group of beautiful hearted, funny, and slightly disturbing people (just how I like them 😁)
