Whilst the rest of us are working hard back at home… The start of Andy’s week has looked a little different 🇮🇹🍷

He’s been lucky enough to escape to Abruzzo as a guest of our good friends and w**e suppliers, Liberty W**es, spending a few days with the team at Fantini W**es.

There’s been vineyard exploring, grape picking, plenty of w**e tasting and, a pasta-making lesson too!

Alongside all the very hard work, he’s discovering more about Fantini’s philosophy and tasting w**es from across their Italian estates including Gran Sasso, Vesevo, Vigneti del Vulture, Vigneti del Salento, Cantine Diomede, Vigneti Zabù and Cantina Atzei.

Trips like this are so valuable to us, meeting the people behind the w**es, walking the vineyards and understanding where and how they’re made gives us so much more knowledge to bring back and share with our teams and ultimately with you when we’re pouring them.

A huge thank you to Liberty and Fantini for having him.

We’re all absolutely delighted for him… Obviously 🤣 🙄🍷🇮🇹

Pouring this rather special 2006 Château TALBOT - Grand Cru Classé en 1855 today as part of our tasting menu pairings 😍🍷

The most fun part for our team is curating a menu that excites them, provides them with plenty to talk about, and of course, a w**e that tastes incredible for our guests!!

We have just one sitting for our Summer menu remaining, with just a few places remaining. Beyond this, our Autumn menu is now live to book with dates available from the 6th of September 🍷🍁
