For the past 10 years, it’s been incredibly challenging to clearly communicate the difference between what we do as a bean-to-bar craft chocolate maker and what a chocolatier does.

From a customer’s perspective, it’s not always easy to tell what’s truly made from scratch and what isn’t.

That’s why we’re so proud that a group of UK makers have come together to form an association that genuinely recognises this craft — helping bring much-needed clarity for customers when choosing their chocolate.

Over time, we’ve seen a real shift: more and more people are looking for transparency and authenticity in what they buy.
