A couple of months ago, we were invited down to Napoleons in Hillsborough to try out their new menu. We loved it that much that we went again a few weekends ago for a family birthday celebration.
We went on a Friday and had the £42 Dine in Style menu which is such great value for money. We would definitely visit again!

📝Review:
We are loving Nando’s at the moment and often take full advantage of the Dare to Share offer where you get 3 starters for £12.25. We always go for the hummus (my fave) and the halloumi (his fave). This time we had the sweet potato wedges too but we often have the olives!

☕️Afternoon Tea fit for a Princess 🫅

At the start of the long weekend, we headed down to the Pantry at Elsecar Heritage Centre for their afternoon tea. This is not just a regular afternoon tea - it’s fit for royalty.
You get a great selection of sandwiches, a slice of quiche and a delightful mini cheese and spinach muffin alongside a variety of incredible buns and cakes.
We had such a lovely time!

✨Eggs Benedict with a twist✨

📝Review:
Earlier this year we visited Harriet’s in Meadowhall for Breakfast while doing some Saturday morning shopping.
I went for the Mini Yorkshire Pudding Eggs Benedict which was absolutely delightful. It made a lovely change to the basic Benedict.
My boyfriend went for the cheese and toast with bacon and said it was super tasty too. He also said his coffee was amazing and said it’s worth visiting for that alone.
They also had a great selection of cakes available but we were too stuffed after breakfast to try - maybe next time!

🐔🍗DAVE’S HOT CHICKEN🍗🐔

We finally visited Dave’s Hot Chicken in Sheffield city centre yesterday on our work lunch. We had heard such great things and couldn’t wait to try.
I went for the Dave’s #4 Slider with fries. I upgraded to cheese fries and had an Oreo milkshake too. I went for the medium heat and think I could have gone little spicier. My friend went for the extra hot and said it was unreal!

We will definitely be back!

A few weekends ago, we went on a shopping trip to York Designer Outlet. After shopping til we be literally dropped, we decided to go to Wagamama for lunch.
My favourite side/starter is the beef brisket and kimchee gyozas. For my main I had the Prawn Raisukaree which was delightfully fragrant with just a little kick.

The Pantry at Elsecar is our new fave spot for brunch. A big part of this is their amazing cake selection - they’re all sooo good!

My favourite off their new breakfast menu is the Eggs Benedict. It’s such a dreamy dish!

I can’t wait to try their afternoon tea in a few weeks!

✨ Cunningham’s Restaurant at the Royal Victoria✨

Come with us to the Royal Victoria Hotel for a night of serious deliciousness.

We strolled into Cunningham’s Restaurant and was instantly wowed by the chandeliers and mood lighting. It’s giving classy date night, family treat, and “I deserve this” energy all at once, and every dish comes out looking like it’s ready for its close‑up.

We kicked things off with scallops and pheasant breast (our first time trying pheasant and honestly… why did no one tell us it was this good). Then came the mains: a melt‑in‑your‑mouth lamb cutlet and a dreamy hake that disappeared in record time. And the dessert selection? Pure bliss for those with sweet tooth’s like me!

Little insider tip: Cunningham’s isn’t just for hotel guests. It’s open to everyone, just a short walk from the train station, and there’s on‑site parking if you’re driving. We were invited to try their new menu and the service was chef’s kiss from start to finish.

Popeyes’ Kickback Wrap is giving main character energy.

Crispy chicken tenders, that smoky‑tangy Kickback sauce, fresh lettuce and tomato, all tucked into a warm toasted tortilla. It’s giving flavour, it’s giving comfort, it’s giving “I’m not sharing this with anyone”.

And the best part? All wraps are £2.99 until 5pm from 23rd Feb.

At this point, it would genuinely be rude not too!
