✨ Sexed chicks now available ✨

The babies have arrived safe and sound and are now ready 💛 if you have some reserved and have yet to arrange a collection time please contact us. These chicks are sexed at the hatchery so guaranteed female. Bovan brown and white stars, the best egg layers and super friendly. Our absolute favourite hybrids 🐣🥚💛

Our hens are still being kept inside for now due to avian flu restrictions, but as you can see they are making the most of it. They have plenty of space and all the usual routines - happy hens as always 🐔🥚💛

We are now taking reservations for our sexed day old chicks arriving in April. The chicks are sexed at the hatchery so they are guaranteed female.
White stars and bovan browns.

As primarily an egg producer, we specialise in hardy, top laying breeds selected for temperament and performance.
We don't differentiate between the hens we sell and the ones we keep ourselves. This means you can be confident that the birds you purchase from us have been reared to a very high welfare standard from day one.

Out of all the different commercial brown hens the bovan brown is definitely our favourite 💛 She is calm and friendly and a fantastic layer of brown eggs. Fed and looked after properly she will produce eggs for you pretty much every day for at least 18 months. Point of lay hens available now, message us for more information
