Packing away the pea tackle for the year, then onto preparing the land to re-seed with an early fold root mix to graze our fattening lambs on at the back end of the year 👍

Here's a look at the life cycle of a carrot on our farm. We get a good till and bed formed with the tractor and Howard rotavator that we adapted, then finish by hand. Trying to ensure the seedlings get off to the best start. Some of the carrots are absolute corkers and others are absolute monsters, I don't mind having the dodgy looking ones, they all still taste incredible and each one grown with love. Plus I'm convinced the dodgy ones are better in a stew.

The potato harvest has begun! We grow 3 different varieties here, come and give them a try! One is perfect for chips, one is great for mash and one is a fantastic baking potato.
