All 12 sheep entered sold and have gone to new homes to rear their lambs! 🐏

Forest Tup (Belfield) 3 shear. Registered with WFW society.

We bought him in 2022 and he’s thrown some fantastic lambs for us but sadly we are now limited to what we can use him on.

He’s worked this time and just needs a bit of condition getting on him.

Market Day!

3 aged ewes entered for the inlamb sale today at Clitheroe and all 3 have gone to pastures new 🐏🏡

Lot 33 achieved 1st place and Champion in the show before the sale with Lot 34 standing in 3rd place 🥇🥉

As always, thanks go out to the buyers, under bidders and market!

We managed to see two of the buyers in person to pass on the registration certificates and luck money. Unfortunately we couldn’t locate the buyer of Lot 34 before we had to head home so the registration certificate and luck money was left in the office for them.

🐏 LOT 34 - scanned in lamb with twins to Forest Tup (3179F) (George Belfield). Showed its tup lamb from 2023 and 2024 as a shearling.

Halifax Show

What a great turn out for the breed!

Thank you to Sam Hodgson for travelling from the Lake District to judge for us today.

Champion went to Richard Smith with his shearling ewe and reserve champion went to Laura Jane with her shearling tup.

Champion lamb went to Karl and Helen Alderson’s ram lamb.
