Grown here in the UK from late summer into early autumn, they’re delicious eaten fresh, baked in crumbles or made into jams and chutneys.

To get your hands on them while they’re at their best, contact your local delivery depot and add them to your order!

That’s 20 bitterly cold warehouse winters, gorgeously warm summer days, and every grey day in between — meticulously carrying out quality control procedures, overseeing the warehouse team, and selecting the very best produce to pack and send out with your orders!

UK Spring onions are here! 👏

Our 'What's in the box?' this week is all about these fantastic UK Spring onions from our growers over in Worcestershire.

When we are reliant on freight Spring Onion for a large chunk of the year, it's well worth celebrating this locally grown crop when it's here and such brilliant quality!

(As Tom can testify, the deliciously strong flavour stuck with him for the entire day!!)

Petition to see more purple on our plates!!

💜 Check it out, UK-grown purple cauliflower 💜

Why not try roasted purple cauliflower steaks with garlic, lemon, toasted almonds and a drizzle of tahini ( All of which you can get from us here at Dole Foodservice) ... Crispy, colourful and delicious.

The season for UK Purple Cauliflower is quite short and after being hit by heatwave after heatwave this summer, the crop has been affected slightly but still a fantastic addition to your menu and a fabulous way to support our UK Farmers after a testing summer!

Happy Saturday everyone, Wishing you all a fantastic weekend creating culinary masterpieces in those kitchens of yours! (Don’t worry, a break in the heat is reportedly on the way 🤞 )

We are back bright and early on Monday morning so be sure to have your orders in before 10pm Sunday evening for next day delivery.

Big thanks to Sean (Dole UK group transport manager) Anna (Day warehouse team) and Julie (Day Warehouse Supervisor) for being good sports and helping to - hopefully - welcome the weekend in with a few giggles!
