That was the week that was… Winsley Ladies 1st XI putting serious runs on the board. Meeting up with the Honourable Tom Oliver. Seeing Nat home from the Middle East. Racing magnate Fry Boy night. Mr P Jones hitting the big 7 0 on eclipse night. Followed by chatting to BBC Points West about the drought and apple harvest prospects. Layer on a mad rush to re-stock everything and prep for Mid-Somerset Show on Sunday. And all in tropical conditions. Phew! Head in bucket of cold water time 😅

FINALLY! Accidentally drove past the Oliver’s Cider and Perry emporium today. I have been meaning to visit for 20 years! Screech of brakes and a cheeky U-turn later and we were with the lovely Tom. Thank you so much for your time and hospitality - one of the true greats in cider and perry. Love you man ❤️
