With the time of England’s first knockout match against DR Congo with a kickoff of 5:00pm tomorrow (1st of July) we are going to show the game!

We will be broadcasting the first knockout game for England in our Sports Room, this is a small room that can seat about 15 so will be a first come first reserve basic for seats for all games.

Why not support England with a pint of Dorset Lager from Apex, Cider from Isaac’s or Ale from Palmers, all available at The White Hart. If these aren’t your drink to have while watching the match, we have 4 Real Ales; 3 Lagers; 3 Sparkling Ciders; 2 Still Ciders & huge range of Non/ Low Alcoholic Ales Lagers/ Ciders and Guinness.

This is perfect if you want to have a pizza while watching the game as Dan will be out the front serving his Sourdough Pizzas from 5:00pm till 8:00pm.

Unfortunately due to the lack of teams we won’t be able to do the Summer Skittles!

The skittle alley is available to use for family and friend games during the summer before the leagues start again in September.

On our guest ale pump for this week we have Cheddar Ale Potholer.

This cask conditioned golden bitter of 4.3%. It’s an award winning bitter, really refreshing with zesty fruit flavours.

Along side we have our House Ales: Palmers’ Copper, Fuller’s London Pride and St Austell’s Proper Job.

Summer Spritz!

Expanding of the classic Aperol Spritz that we have offered for a while, we are now offering 2 more spritz for summer.
These will be available all year round, unlike the Cocktail of the Month that changes each month.

Hugo Spritz:
This is an elderflower spritz with Elderflower Liqueur , Prosecco and a splash of Soda with a garnish of a Lime wedge or wheel.

Limoncello Spritz:
This one is straight forward as it’s Limoncello, Prosecco and splash of Soda with a garnish of a Lemon wheel.

Aperol Spritz:
A bittersweet spritz of Aperol, Prosecco and a splash of Soda with a garnish of half an Orange wheel.

All spritz are £12.45 and are a refreshing drink for summer.

We also have Pimms by the glass or jug, a British summer drink that can be enjoyed as a treat for yourself or as a group.

LIVE MUSIC - This Evening!

Joe Jones will be returning for June’s live music performance. Joe will be performing all the firm favourites of the 60’s & 70’s and more from 7:00 till 9:00.

We have been monitoring the forecast daily and with the weather this evening looking clear we have moved the performance to be outside.
With the music being outside we have moved forward an hour so instead of starting at 8:00, Joe will be starting at 7:00.

Tables can still be booked for outside for live music. We have more larger tables outside and can move them around to also accommodate a dancing area.

Dan will open the kitchen for food during the evening. A table can be booked for a meal, join in the evening entertainment by Joe Jones or both. Please let us know when booking a table.

Father’s Day!

Book in now for your Father’s Day Sunday Roast (21st June). All pre-booked tables we will give any Father dining with us a FREE pint, be that Ale, Lager, Cider or Guinness.

We offer a choice of four plated Sunday Roasts all served with Roast Potatoes, Potato Dauphinoise, Cauliflower Cheese, Seasonal Vegetables, Yorkshire Pudding and Gravy.

Sunday food service is from 12:00 till 3:00pm.

Choice of Roasts are:
Squash & Beetroot Wellington (Ve)
Pork Loin with Crackling & Stuffing
Chicken with Stuffing
Topside of Beef

We offer 3 sized portions:
Regular sized portions for £18
Senior/ Small sized portions for £12
Under 12’s for £10

June’s Cocktail of the Month!

For the month of June we are offering Strawberry Daiquiri as the Cocktail of the Month. This is a fruity variation of the rum based cocktail Daiquiri. Mixing strawberry purée, spiced rum and lime juice. This year we chose to do the shaken version but next year we might offer this as a frozen cocktail.

Pop in for one like some customers have already, they know who they are, some have constantly been trying the Cocktail of the Month.

We have cocktails with the main four base spirits also available, so there is a cocktail for everyone. Other cocktail on our menu include standard Daiquiri, Margarita and Old Fashioned.

Each month we will change the Cocktail of the Month to celebrate that month, we will post each month promoting the cocktail or ask a member of staff about it.

Keep an eye out in the next couple of days as we are also offering some sparkling cocktails for summer.

OPEN MIC & LIVE MUSIC!

Open Mic - Sunday 14th June
Live Music - Thursday 18th of June

OPEN MIC:
Starting at 6:00pm and going till close (9:00pm) we have our open mic. We host our Open Mics on the Second Sunday of the month.

John will be hosting and organising the acts that are preforming, sound provided and engineering by our very own Bakerman Dan.

Come down to listen or speak to John who will be pointed out if you would like to perform a number or 2.

LIVE MUSIC:

On the Guest Ale pump this week we have Dartmoor’s Jail Ale!

This deep amber ale has an ABV of 4.8%. A full-bodied ale with a well-rounded flavour. This ale has a flavours of malted fruits, citrus and orange with notes of caramel on the finish.

Alongside Dartmoor’s Jail Ale we have our house Ales: Palmers’ Copper; Fuller’s London Pride and St Austell’s Proper Job.
