Aagrah Foods is celebrating a clean sweep of quality at the prestigious Great Taste Awards, after its Plain Naan was awarded two stars – meaning every product in the brand’s range now holds at least one coveted Great Taste star.
A two-star award is given to products judged to be ‘above and beyond delicious’, marking Aagrah Foods’ Plain Naan out as an exceptional product in its category. The win also gives Aagrah Foods a rare quality credential across the brand: every product it has entered into the Great Taste Awards has received at least one star, following blind judging by food and drink experts.
“Naan has been part of our family’s food for generations, and we love seeing people enjoy it traditionally alongside a curry or get creative with toppings and sharing dishes.”

Our Plain Naan has just been awarded 2 Great Taste Stars.

That isn’t where the story starts.

It starts in Bradford in 1977, where our restaurant kitchen built its reputation one naan at a time.

The Great Taste judges described it as:

“As though it’s come straight from a tandoor oven.”

That is exactly what we’ve spent nearly five decades trying to achieve.
