☀️ Due to the heat, the Cake Shed will be closed for a couple of days as I don’t want the cakes and treats melting in these temperatures! 🍫🌡️

I do have cakes available from the house for anyone who would still like to collect some. If you’d like to pop by, please send me a message first so I can make sure I’m here and have everything ready for you.

When you get asked to make a gender reveal cake, it can be quite nerve-wracking 🎂💙🩷

Suddenly you’re the very first person to find out whether someone is having a little boy or girl… sometimes people you’ve never even met before! 🤫

Then comes the hardest part… making the cake, handing it over, and not giving the game away! 😂

This one was a very last-minute request, but I absolutely love the idea of gender reveal cakes, so of course I said yes 💕

Seeing the reveal video afterwards genuinely brought tears to my eyes. Being trusted with such a special secret and then seeing the excitement and happiness when it’s finally revealed is such a lovely feeling 🥹💙

The parents-to-be were such a lovely couple, and I wish them all the happiness in the world as they get ready to become a family of three with their beautiful baby boy 👶💙

Thank you for letting me be a small part of such a special moment ✨

The bestie’s birthday was last week and, let’s be honest, no birthday is complete without cake 😍🎂

So this year it was a brownie stack loaded with all the chocolatey goodness 🍫✨

The celebrations also included a pedalo trip down the river in Chester… which provided plenty of laughs and probably burned off just enough calories to justify the brownie stack 🤣🚣‍♀️

A wonderful day making memories with one of my favourite people ❤️

Today we celebrated my daughter’s 12th birthday and my niece’s 6th birthday 🎉🎂💕

Of course, I couldn’t let the occasion pass without making some birthday cakes! 😍

I made these two beautiful 6-inch cakes — one in teal with chocolate sponge 🍫 and one in pink with vanilla sponge 🍓✨. Both cakes were gluten free too!

We’ve had such a wonderful day filled with family, a BBQ, puddings, lots of laughter, and of course plenty of birthday cake 🎈🎁🎂

Days like these are what memories are made of ❤️
