What’s lurking in the undergrowth…

PUMPKINS…! And lots of them! 🎃🎃

Despite the dry, hot Summer weather our Pumpkins are doing amazingly well!

We’ve got all shapes, sizes and colours developing beautifully in our Pumpkin Patch, and there’s still several weeks of growing to do before we open!

We can’t wait to welcome you for our favourite ‘Spooky’ time of the year! 👻

The Bakery has been busy cooking up all your weekend treats…🥐

Our Butchery team have built a display of dreams in the counter…
They are on hand to deliver a truly bespoke service with many years of experience between them. Offering our customers the highest of quality, through thoughtfully sourced products, traditionally butchered to your specific requirements🥩

Sparrows Cafe is serving all your foodie favourites, all made here, at Battlefield 1403, from scratch! Delicious, home made food.🍴

Unfortunately, due to an electricity fault we have no choice but to CLOSE for the rest of the day today!

Apparently there has been an electrical explosion on the line which has affected 62 other properties in the area.

We sincerely apologise if you were planning to visit today, but we will be back open again tomorrow Thursday 27th August!

Sunday Roasts don’t have to be boring! 🥱🐓

As we step into our last few weeks of Summer, we’re enjoying the final warmer evenings with family time and great food!

Roast Chicken is always a crowd pleaser, throw in some smoky lumpwood and a and you’ve got something really special!

We basted our whole barn reared chicken with BBQ seasoning, garlic, butter & herbs… added in some new season potatoes and served with some fresh crunchy salad leaves.

The results… a comforting Sunday Roast, in the Summer Sunshine! 👌
