Home Farm Attingham

Home Farm Attingham Home Farm is a family run, organic working farm. We are open to the public everyday from Easter to October half-term.
(540)

Visitors can feed our animals, enjoy our play area & pedal tractors and try our homemade cakes. Home Farm Attingham is the perfect family day out where you really can meet feed and get up close and personal with all the animals you would expect to find on a British family farm. With home made teas and cakes that are worth spoiling any diet for.

Have you got room in your coop for a cockerel?! These handsome fellas need to find new homes, there's not enough pens here for them to have their own girls & they deserve their own patch....
They are our from our first hatch from mid March, so a bit of a farmyard selection. The third one definitely is a cream legbar x. And the first one is Speckledy x I think.
Apologies for my double chin appearing in every photo. I couldn't find a way to keep them still enough for a decent photo!!! 😜 Please let me know if you can help, thank you, Farmer Laura🐔🐓

Our Village Church Fete and Duck Race is next month! (5th July!)
Can you help us?! We are on the hunt for donations for our stalls, all raising money to fix our church tower!
Do you have anything you could donate for the following stalls:
🧸Toys
🌻Plants
📖Books
🏠Bric-a-Brac
🍷Tombola
🍰Cakes & Preserves

Please message Laura on here or bring along to the farm when you are next passing - if you need help we will happily collect if you are local!

If you would like to help on the day then we would also love to hear from you - we are looking for help running games, serving teas and selling ducks! We are a friendly bunch and any offer of help is gratefully received for our small village community.

Thank you ever so much x

Yesterday was, well, off the scale 🤯🤩 thank you to each and everyone of you who supported us, it means the world. For those of you who are new to us, we are a small family team (boosted by our wonderful gang of tearoom staff, their families and our family members who get roped in for the day!)

Honestly yesterday blew us away, what a wonderful celebration of food and farming. If you learnt one thing about farming yesterday then that makes it all worthwhile.

We'd love to see your photos, and if you fancy a trip back to see our animals again (without the crowds!) Then we are open everyday until 2nd November this season.

Now time to tidy up....

Much love, Ben, Laura, Sam, Judy and our mini farmers. X

Tomorrow is the big day! Open Farm Sunday at Home Farm, our annual FREE event joining in with hundreds of farmers across the country who open their doors to the public.
Here’s what you need to know!
⏰️We are open 10am until 5pm
🏰- We have a bouncy castle, fun competitions, craft activities, pedal tractors, animals to feed and BIG (we mean HUMONGOUS) farm machinery heading to the farm
🙋Ask questions! We have roped in lots of our farming friends. They will be wearing "I am a farmer, ask me a question" badges. If you have a question about food & farming - ask us - it's 100% what tomorrow is about
🍰Bring cash for your food/drink /animal food purchases - whilst we have a card machine it runs sloooow when we are busy so this will speed things up
🖐️ It's really important to wash your hands at regular intervals - soap and warm water NOT baby wipes or gels. We sound like a broken record but honestly we are sticklers for sparkling hands!
👟Wear sensible clothes & shoes bearing in mind we are a working farm
🚜We are accessible but bear in mind some lumps and bumps and wet patches if it rains (please let us know in advance if you have any queries)
We can't wait to see you all!!
Team Dixon x
