OK, our next event is this Saturday — get ready to groove! Darren Giles Brings New Event to The Courthouse
Lincoln-based DJ, promoter, and producer Darren Giles is set to ignite the coast with a brand-new event, kicking off on May 16th at 3pm in The Courthouse’s all-weather courtyard, before moving indoors from 8pm.
Darren — well known for Reelhouse Records, his shows on Street Sounds Radio, and the popular Boogie Down Sessions — returns fresh from his Australia tour, bringing his signature energy and passion to this exciting new venture.
Headlining the first event is Grimsby’s legendary DJ and promoter, Dean Baker. Celebrating an incredible 40 years behind the decks, he comes straight from his sell-out Decades of House show and the unforgettable Better Days event in Cleethorpes — a true icon of Lincolnshire’s house music scene.
Joining him is Skegness favourite Mathew ‘Chinny’ O’Connor, famous for pouring heart and soul into every set. Rounding out the bill is a talented selection of up-and-coming local DJs.

Now that the excitement of the Mega Mayday Bank Holiday has passed, it’s time to turn our attention to the next big event at the Courthouse! Join us for the unforgettable 1975 to 1985 Skegness School Reunion—an evening filled with nostalgia, great music, and fantastic company.
Get ready to dance and reminisce as our very own local legends (or should we say, leg ends, depending on your school! 🤣)—Mick Peak, Wingnut, and Tony Johnson—take the decks. They’ll be spinning classic favorites spanning the last 50 years, guaranteed to get everyone moving.
Doors open at 3 PM, kicking off with fun in the courtyard before we head inside later in the evening. Don’t miss out on this special celebration—come along, catch up with old friends, and make some new memories!

The spring soul weekender is here, doors open at 3pm with Terry Coates kicking off in the courtyard. It looks like it's going to be another cracking event with a couple of added bits.
BRIAN (HOBBO) HOBSON will be celebrating his retirement, and Dave Kay will be taking over the courtroom for his birthday celebrations on Sunday night.
Online tickets are now sold out, but we have a few remaining at the door.
As a knowledgeable old DJ used to say LET'S HAVE IT.
