Priory Free Range Foods is a family-run business established in 2005. At the heart of the business is our organic farm where we keep organic laying hens. We are passionate about farming organically as we believe it is the only truly sustainable form of food production. We are keen for our customers to be assured, through our farm's organic certification, that we adhere to the highest possible welf

are standards for our livestock. We are proud that our eggs are on the menu in several local restaurants and they are also stocked by a variety of farm shops and delis throughout Lincolnshire. We also supply several wholesale businesses which enables our eggs to be purchased as far as London. Our organic and non-organic free-range eggs are also available to buy direct from the farm's honesty box. We also supply non-organic free-range eggs to retailers, schools, pubs and restaurants in Lincolnshire and beyond. We are a registered egg packer, grading / packaging our own and eggs supplied by other local producers.

The prolonged dry hot weather has caused the overall egg sizes to drop. Due to the weather and popularity of our eggs we are close to running short of trays of large. In addition we now offer trays of 30 medium free range for £7.00.

We have stopped selling organic XL on trays, only available in boxes of 6 now. We now sell trays of 30 organic at £9.50 which works out as £1 cheaper than buying 5 boxes. Why is it that people cannot use their eyes. The trays have prices on, there’s a price in bold print associated with the trays with a QR code. There are 10 more eggs on the tray yet they pay £7.50, the price for 20 XL. Sorry to rant but also someone has dumped all their small change which costs us 10% to cash in. Rant over and of course many thanks to all those great customers we do have.

Happened to listen to someone moaning on CCTV about the tray of egg prices supposedly going up from £7.00 to £7.50 to £8.50. Yes they went from 7.00 to 7.50 (first increase for over 12 months) but the £8.50 is FOR ORGANIC as sold out of standard free range as posted here earlier. Supermarket organic eggs work out at £14.00 per tray so I think that is good value, yes. Eggs are in short supply for a multitude of reasons. I think some think we just make it up. Had to get this off my chest. Happy New Year to everyone 😊

Hi Egg lovers, we’re running out of trays of standard free-range eggs. More will be available from Friday 2nd of January. There will however be trays of 30 organic mixed size eggs for £8.50 per tray available over the Christmas period.
