The Inkpot The Inkpot Organic Farm in South Lincs is a thriving family farm stretching over 150 acres.

We are open the first Saturday of each month 10-4 with farm tours, award winning produce in the farm shop and refreshments. The Inkpot is a 100 acre organic farm, a permaculture demonstration centre, utilising regenerative farming techniques since 2010. We produce award winning food, run courses & events, have volunteers and interns. It is the home of Permaculture teacher & senior tutor Hannah Thorogood and family.

It’s our monthly open day this Saturday. We are open the first Saturday of each month. 10-4.

Our little farm shop will be open selling beef, wool, eggs, jams and chutneys. And we can take orders for the few remaining award winning organic Inkpot turkeys, and our organic lincoln red beef for your festive feasts.

I’ll be running farm tours at 11am and 1pm (£5 per adult, tickets available in the shop)

Refreshments available from the gazebo - pulled beef baps, hot drinks & cakes.

Come along, see the farm, order your Christmas dinners, buy some Christmas gifts and support one of your local family farms.

We’ll have a bonfire going to keep you all warm.

Morning folks, it’s going to be a busy weekend for us.. As we all start to ramp up to Christmas we’ll@be at 3 different Christmas markets locally. Heckington on Saturday and Sleaford & Donington on Sunday. We’ll be there with lots of lovely Inkpot beef, eggs, jams, chutneys and our range of 5 wools. There are some Inkpot organic wristies knitted by yours truly for your Christmas gifts and a few remaining turkeys to order for your Christmas feast. We’re also taking orders for Our organic Lincoln Red beef cuts for Christmas so let us know if you’d like something special prepared by our amazing butchers at Launde. Really looking forward to opening up again for our monthly farm open day on Saturday 2nd Nov, 10-4. Come and stock up on your supplies for the month, order your Christmas Turkey or beef, come on a farm tour or relax by the bonfire and enjoy one of our pulled beef baps or a hot drink & some cake. Let us know if you’d like to avoid the queue and pre order your beef. Our £40 beef packs have been really popular this month.. 1/2kg of mince, 1/2kg stewing steak, 1 joint and 2 steaks.. so something to keep you going for some healthy autumn dinners - good for you, good for the planet. Fantastic day today in my role as East Midlands Facilitator for Pasture for Life.. We had a group of farmers from across East Midlands at Sue Proctors lovely farm in Lincolnshire, taught by the wonderful Dr Radka Gromnicova - looking at direct selling techniques, using holistic management in farm business planning and integrating livestock into arable rotations.
