Next week is picnic week and I have been trying to think of a way to show case Wilcox Bakery & Picks Butchers… so I thought why not bring the two together. Savoury side Picks and sweet side Wilcox Bakery.

Each one include 1/2 a pork pie, 2 sausage rolls, crackers and cheese with a pot of onion chutney, then 2 slices of Victoria sponge, 2 sultana scones, a pot of jam and clotted cream. Garnished with strawberries and rocket.

£14.00 for one
£25.00 for two

Each one serves 2 people 🙂

Hi everyone 👋👋

I thought I’d just touch base, as I haven’t really been posting much lately, but WOOOOO have I been super busy! 😂 between the start up of Wilcox Coffee & Cocktail to buying Picks Butchers it’s safe to say it’s been a crazy few months.

I thought I’d share a few pictures of some of the things I’ve been doing, from learning how to make cocktails (this is great!! And I have to get a few perks, right? 🍸😂) to making burgers and pork pies.

But I am still very much Wilcox Bakery, so please do continue supporting us 🥰🥰 I’ve LOVED seeing a few friendly faces popping into Picks this week.

Amongst my crazy work life, I also have to remember that I’m a mum to two girls, Chloe and Emily, so please forgive me if I don’t reply straight away. Emily doesn’t like me having my phone when we’re spending time together (and I do like that! ❤️), so don’t feel bad about giving me a little nudge if you haven’t heard back from me.

Thank you all so much for your continued support—it really does mean the world to me 🥰

I don’t normally post on this page with non work related things, however, if you have young children like me and love spending special time with them please think about supporting messy church. Reverend Al and the Messy Team out so much effort into this monthly event for children and mine absolutely LOVE it!!! They do so many crafts and literally ‘get messy’

Jess from Wilcox Bakery has officially taken over Picks Butchers! ❤️

This feels like a very special moment, not only because Wilcox Bakery and Picks Butchers have worked together for many years, but because Picks is part of Jess's family history.

We know many of you will be wondering what changes are coming... and the answer is simple — none! 😊

Picks is a much-loved village shop with a wonderful reputation, loyal customers, and an incredible team behind it. Toni will still be working alongside Jess (and keeping her in line 🥰), helping to ensure that everything you know and love about Picks continues exactly as it always has.
