🐐 Meet Our New Pygmy Goats! 🐐

We’re delighted to welcome five new young Pygmy goats to the farm, bringing our walk through herd up to eight!

All of our Pygmy goats are named after Santa’s reindeer:
🦌 Dasher
🦌 Dancer
🦌 Prancer
🦌 Vixen
🦌 Comet
🦌 Cupid
🦌 Donner
🦌 Blitzen

Donner and Blitzen are currently in their own area while the youngsters do a little more growing, but the rest of the gang can be found in our walk-through goat enclosure, where you can get up close and enjoy meeting them during your visit.

Keep an eye out for Prancer… she’s already decided her favourite hobby is climbing on people! 🐐😄

Alongside all of our daily animal talks and encounters, make sure you stop by to say hello to these cheeky new arrivals. They’re already keeping us entertained! ❤️🐐

Big thanks to the Youth Impact Team from Cambridgeshire County Council, who brought along students from Castle School for a volunteer day to carry out some much-needed ground work. They did a fantastic job in such a short time – we’re incredibly grateful for all their hard work and effort. Thank you so much!

A Very Special Goodbye to Wilbur ❤️🐷

Today we said goodbye to one the farm’s biggest characters, our much loved Wilbur.

Many of you will remember Wilbur’s incredible story. He arrived at the farm as a tiny piglet, no bigger than a baked bean tin, and over the years he just kept growing… and growing… and growing! Before long, he had become one of the most recognisable faces at the farm, reaching the size of a small car.

Wilbur wasn’t just a pig; he was a celebrity in his own right. Families would ask for him by name and many visitors came back time and time again to see the gentle giant who had captured so many hearts.

Sadly, due to ongoing health issues and declining quality of life, we made the difficult decision to let Wilbur go peacefully. While our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing that he lived a long life filled with care, treats, scratches, naps, and thousands of visitors who adored him.

The farm won’t feel quite the same without him.

Thank you, Wilbur, for being one of a kind. We were incredibly lucky to have you.
