☀🍇 Today’s sunny weather (so far) has got William and Greg reminiscing about their recent trip to France where they visited Pierre Amadieu - Gigondas

Pierre Amadieu is a historic Gigondas estate, founded in 1929 when the young Pierre Amadieu began bottling wines from his family’s original 7 hectares in the Dentelles de Montmirail . Over the decades the domaine has expanded significantly, especially with the acquisition of the Romane and La Machotte vineyards, now forming one of the largest and most emblematic holdings in Gigondas .

Still family‑run across three generations, today the family farms high‑altitude parcels, crafting a range of wines that includes Gigondas reds, whites and rosés, as well as cuvées from neighbouring Rhône appellations such as Vacqueyras, Ventoux, Vinsobres and Côtes du Rhône.

🌹🍷Thank you to everyone that came to our Rose tasting on Friday night. Where we dissected grapes, literally, talked about the importance of the right glassware for sparkling wines and tried eight delightful rose wines from the dry to the sweet spectrum.

🇮🇹🍷📝Our sales team enjoyed a fantastic tutored wine tasting yesterday, featuring the exceptional wines of and led by the wonderful .

 
🍇Founded over a century ago in the heart of Piedmont, the Forno family has spent four generations perfecting their craft, specialising in wines made form Barbera and Moscato. The vineyards are managed entirely by hand — from pruning through to harvest — with a strong focus on sustainability. They also produce wines made form Arneis, Chardonnay, Nebbiolo and Pinot Noir.

✈️Visits like this are invaluable. They strengthen the bonds between us and our suppliers, and give our team first‑hand insight into the wines, the vineyards, and the people behind them.
