Codsall is done which means Balsall Common, you’re next! 🛠️👷‍♂️

We will be closed from this Monday 12th October for 2 weeks whilst we carry out the works.

Don’t panic - our stores in Knowle and Bentley Heath aren’t too far away so please pay us a visit there. Or head to our website if you’d like to place an order for delivery! 🚚

WOWZERS 🤩

Reflecting on the past 3 weeks we’ve achieved something incredible.

1. Production moved from Knowle to Redditch (thanks to the Oakland team), this place is unbelievable & we haven’t even touched the surface on what we want to achieve. 🤓
2. Our 4th store opens in Codsall tomorrow! I’m so excited for this, the community is incredible and the store will be our best yet! 😎 7am tomorrow 🫡
3. Balsall common starts its makeover Monday 12th AND WILL BE CLOSED. It will be reopened on Friday the 30th of October. Making the store 25% bigger & doubling the amount of items available.
4. Knowle then starts… my vision to create the best food hall in the U.K. will come true. Opening fully (I hope) on the 7th December. WE WON’T BE CLOSING WHILST WORKS ARE ONGOING. - explanation video to come.

What’s insane, is I feel this is just the start. These are the foundations for much bigger ambitions.

10/10 food & 10/10 customer service must never slip. We must keep improving.

Baffled at this one in case you couldn’t tell 😂

When we started looking into supermarket prices, we genuinely thought we may struggle to find products where we were cheaper. As an independent business with less buying power than the big chains, it’s hard to match some of the prices supermarkets offer - especially when their pricing strategy involves making a loss on some products just to get you in the door buying others! 🙃

Little did we know though that supermarket prices have crept up and up and actually, we keep finding products where we aren’t just a little bit cheaper, but a LOT cheaper!

Sliced roast beef - £23 a kilo vs £36 quid a kilo 😳

But actually, it’s not just about price. It’s a superior product, you get a lovely chat with the Deli Assistant whilst you order and can choose your choice of thickness and however many slices you require. Win win!

Get to your local butchers or deli if you can - we promise it’s worth the visit! And if you’re in the midlands, come and visit one of our stores in Knowle, Bentley Heath, Balsall Common and Codsall (opening 9th Oct!).

We’ve won loads of awards! 🥳 our honey roast ham won GOLD 🤩
