🐷 Now THIS is what we mean by knowing where your meat comes from… 🐷

This week’s pork is an absolute beauty — a Gloucester Old Spot x commercial breed, sourced from the Young family in Aylsham, Norfolk.

And these aren’t pigs spending their days shut away in a shed… have a look at the videos. 🌳🐖

They’re out enjoying themselves, running around the woods, doing exactly what pigs should be doing — rooting, exploring and generally causing a bit of mischief! 😂

The Young family have been farming these pigs for generations, and there’s a rather impressive sporting pedigree in the family too… two of the Young brothers have represented England at rugby, right up until a couple of years ago. 🏉🇬🇧

From Norfolk to Hockley Heath, this is the sort of provenance we love at Mills Butchers.

A beautifully reared pig, a great family of farmers behind it, and ultimately fantastic pork on your plate.

We’ll be breaking this one down in the shop this week, so keep your eyes peeled for some seriously good Mills Butchers pork. 👀🥩

We appreciate this may cause disappointment, but emotions are still running high.
