We have been providing Outside Catering in the Midlands for over twenty-five years, maintaining a commitment to quality and professionalism at all our functions whether they be intimate dinner parties or a marquee events for hundreds. We created a bespoke three-course plated dinner, finished off with a delicious cheese board, bringing everyone together for an evening full of laughter, fantastic food and wonderful company.

It was an absolute pleasure to be part of such a special occasion and to help make Kev’s milestone birthday everything it deserved to be. The people, the setting, the food and the atmosphere made it a truly memorable evening for us, too.

🌿 Nourishing the Mind & Body for World Mental Health Day! 💚 with Abbott

We were delighted to support Abbott this week as they marked World Mental Health Day with a wonderful initiative focused on staff wellbeing.

Abbott is a company dedicated to developing revolutionary health technologies and products that help people live healthier, fuller lives. So, what better way to bring those values into the workplace than by looking after the wellbeing of their own team? 💚

Alongside an in-office yoga session to encourage relaxation and mindfulness, Gourmet Foods provided a delicious selection of fresh, colourful and nutritious poké bowls for everyone to enjoy! 🥗

A fantastic example of a company taking the time to invest in its people and recognise the importance of both physical and mental wellbeing.

From today until 12th October, we’re proud to be supporting Cancer Research UK and helping raise vital funds for cancer research. 💗

🏆 We’ve celebrated our team. Now it’s time to celebrate Laura. 🏆

Over the years, Gourmet Foods has been incredibly proud to receive recognition and awards for what we do as a team. Every single one of those achievements belongs to the people who make Gourmet what it is.

But this one feels a little different.

Our Head Chef and Director, Laura, has been nominated for Business Woman of the Year at the Birmingham Awards — and we couldn’t be more proud of her. ❤️

Laura is quite simply our rock.

She is the person we can rely on, the person who keeps pushing forward and, somehow, the person who always seems to find another gear when everyone else thinks there’s nothing left in the tank.

She gives 110% even when she’s only got 50% left to give.

Her resilience, persistence, passion and drive don’t just keep her moving forward — they drive all of us forward. And when our team moves forward, Gourmet Foods moves forward with us.

But what makes Laura so special isn’t just what she achieves. It’s the way she supports the people around her. She is there for her team just as much as we are there for her. She genuinely wants to see the people around her succeed, grow and be proud of what we create together.

And underneath all of that determination and drive is a golden heart and a genuine desire to take her team and Gourmet Foods to the absolute heights of what they can be.

We’ve had the privilege of celebrating plenty of achievements together as a team — but now we think it’s Laura’s turn to have some recognition of her own. ❤️

To receive one award would have been incredible, but to be recognised with two means so much to us.
