👉Sellers fee is £5 per pitch and payable on the day. Set up from 10am
👉Buyers £2 on the door from 11am
CASH ONLY PAYABLE IN ARENA-If possible, please do have the correct amount ready.

▪️No need to book a place but please bring your own table and/or tarpaulin as cars are not permitted in the arena.
▪️Do bring along a trolley to help transport your goods from the car park as there will be strictly no parking in front of the arena
▪️Sellers, we politely ask that everything is taken away with you when you leave

▪️Our own second hand tack shop will also be open along with the café, visitor centre and farm walks from 11-4pm.

👉Rehomer Update!!

Young Welsh mare Nutmeg originally came into our care as an unhandled filly, following a roundup of ponies on Gelligaer common in Wales. She was rehomed last year and we recently had a lovely photo and update from her rehomer

"Just a quick Nutmeg up date for you. She’s taking everything in her stride, nothing phases her. We’ve got lots of heavy machinery doing work at the neighbouring farmhouse and she doesnt mind one bit! Much happier now it’s cooled down. And loves her little person!"

👉Young Stable Squad supporter Rowan and her friend Holly came by for a visit last week and they had a lovely surprise for us as well. Both girls had worked hard making lots of cakes, selling them locally, to raise money for World Horse Welfare. The locals must have been really hungry as they raised £70!!!! Holly and Rowan with Rowans mum Laura, had a tour of the facilities as a thank you and met gorgeous boy Jimmy on the way through the crew yards.

Raven was one of 20 ponies who came in to Glenda Spooner Farm several years ago as part of a huge welfare case involving multiple numbers of equines. Seventeen of these ponies, Raven included, were only around a year old. None were with their mothers and all were very sickly. Some with severe diarrhoea and all with overgrown hooves, very poor body condition scores, riddled with lice and other medical issues. Following a long rehabilitation process, involving extensive veterinary intervention for most of the ponies, as well as a halt on cases being processed through the courts due to Covid lockdown, all 20 ponies were eventually signed over to our care. By this time, each and every one was very much ready to be rehomed. Raven went out as a youngster companion, where she lived happily for nearly 5 yrs, only returning recently due to a change in her rehomers circumstances. Now around 8 years old, she has been reassessed and is ready for her next adventure in a new home. 💖

Our herb garden is doing well and Amber took her time checking out the menu. However, she couldn't decide between mint and rosemary!!🤔 It's such a simple enrichment idea and as it's positioned at the top of our crew yards, the ponies have the option to browse as they go past. As the herbs grow, we will add a mesh top and the ponies will be able to pick some off. We can add them to water buckets and if there's enough, even hang up in the stables. 🌿
