We may not have won Muddy Stilettos | Sussex but we are winning with our current pumpkin crop💪, at least much better than this time last year (if you remember Farmer Caroline’s rain dance😅🌧️)!!

We want to say a massive thank you to everyone who voted for us, it was a very tight competition and unfortunately we marginally lost out to a worthy winner!🥈❤️

We were chuffed to receive so much support & it shows what an incredible community we have!🥰

As a thank you, above is some very cute footage of a new baby lamb coming into the world a few weeks ago & an updated photo of Ramona and her Ramones (btw she has been sheared now🌞)!

Our Coraline and Farmer David scarecrows are back to work, protecting the pumpkin plants from being stolen!👨‍🌾🐦‍⬛

Amongst shearing the big flock yesterday, Vincent and Tina were also pampered by Farmer Caroline so they don’t overheat in the summer!☀️🐑

Their wool is an incredible material:
- biodegradable
- fire-retardant
- suppresses weeds when placed around plants
- temperature regulating (when you’re hot it cools you down, and warms you up when you’re cold)
- it’s used as insulation in walls, carpets, clothing and more!

If you’re into knitting or crochet give sheep’s wool a go as it’s a brilliant natural fiber! 🧶

Farmer Andy drilled the seeds on Saturday ready for the incoming rain this week! 🌧️🌈

Farmers David & Caroline were on photography duty, and Farmer Caroline even tried her hand at a time-lapse!🤳🎥

We have planted 20 varieties of seeds so here’s hoping you’ll have plenty to choose from in October!👻
