In exactly 1 month, on Saturday 3rd October we will be opening for 2026!👻

Get ready to pick some pumpkins, see our resident sheep, do some seasonal crafts, go on our tractor trailer rides, learn about the farm, get your face painted, eat and drink some delicious Halloween themed treats & make some new autumn memories!🍂🤎

We cannot wait to welcome you, and show you what we’ve been hiding…👀🎃

Have you tried our homegrown beef burgers?🍔

We think they are 10/10 and hope you do too - they are back again this year served by Olly and his fabulous team!🧑‍🍳

Available every day we are open - 3/4 10/11, 17/18, 24-31st October 😋

Obviously there will be a pumpkin addition to the burger menu too!👀🎃

New addition alert!🚨

Our pumpkin field this year (we rotate the pumpkin crop every year to avoid weeds growing) has a spooky woodland area that is a prime location for our spider to perch!🕸️

Charlie Anderson Props has been beavering away making a huge web big enough for our spider from 100% recycled materials (Over the Moon )and there is more she is working on too…👀

Have a peek at our pumpkins 👀

Unbelievably our pumpkins are thriving (at the moment🤞) in this dry weather! We are still praying for rain but they are growing beautifully!🥰

This year we have 20 varieties of pumpkins and gourds - pink ones, blue ones, green ones, black ones, white ones & orange ones of course!🌈

The pumpkin field is keeping us going, in the midst of a challenging harvest and ongoing dry conditions preventing us from planting our next crops 🙃

WE’RE BACK FOR 2026!🎃

As some of us are looking forward to colder times🥵we think now is a good time to share our exciting news!!

We will be open the first 3 weekends in October along with half-term until Halloween on Saturday 31st!🕸️🖤

We can’t wait to open the gates!😝

Our Sompting Pumpkins trailer has been busy this week with Open Farm Sunday and a visit from West Sussex Grassland Society!🚜

We had a lovely evening last night showing local farmers around with the sun setting over Lychpole Farm (home of Sompting Pumpkins) just as wholecropping began (homegrown cattle feed from cutting spring barley)! 🌅

If the trailer is busy it means Farmer Caroline is too, talking about farming and food - her favourite thing to do!🎤

Your local Open Farm Sunday is THIS SUNDAY (28th June) at nearby Titch Hill Farm!🌾

Farmer Caroline is one of the organisers and would love to see you there!👨‍🌾

It’s a fun day out, also a chance to get to know your local farmers who are producing your food, caring for their animals and the environment!🦋

Sompting Pumpkins 2026 is a go!!!🎃😜

Farmer Andy drilled the seeds on Saturday ready for the incoming rain this week! 🌧️🌈

Farmers David & Caroline were on photography duty, and Farmer Caroline even tried her hand at a time-lapse!🤳🎥

We have planted 20 varieties of seeds so here’s hoping you’ll have plenty to choose from in October!👻

- Farmer Caroline was on Panorama sharing the challenging impact the Iran War has had on farmers!👨‍🌾

- Ramona is doing a great job with her Ramones! Unfortunately she was unable to feed all 3 lambs so one of the boys is now with his foster mum and doing very well!🐑👶

- Also planning has started for Sompting Pumpkins 2026, the seeds will be going in soon…🎃
