Sompting Pumpkins 2026 is a go!!!🎃😜

Farmer Andy drilled the seeds on Saturday ready for the incoming rain this week! 🌧️🌈

Farmers David & Caroline were on photography duty, and Farmer Caroline even tried her hand at a time-lapse!🤳🎥

We have planted 20 varieties of seeds so here’s hoping you’ll have plenty to choose from in October!👻

- Farmer Caroline was on Panorama sharing the challenging impact the Iran War has had on farmers!👨‍🌾

- Ramona is doing a great job with her Ramones! Unfortunately she was unable to feed all 3 lambs so one of the boys is now with his foster mum and doing very well!🐑👶

- Also planning has started for Sompting Pumpkins 2026, the seeds will be going in soon…🎃

Catch-up with Farmer Caroline in honour of National Careers Week!👨‍🌾

When she’s not busy looking after cattle and sheep (and pumpkins), Farmer Caroline visits schools to talk to students about farming!🌾

She is always keen to educate more people about it, so if you think your local school would be interested in her doing a school visit - send us a message and we can book it in! 💌

& when she’s not farming or talking in schools she is counting the farmland birds of which we have 100s!🦉🐦‍⬛

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!💛

Your donations for our trailer rides reached a whopping £1882.32 for - a local charity that’s very close to our hearts!🎃

So in total we raised £2311.39 for charity this year, including & !!!🙌

Your generosity is greatly appreciated and is really important, especially at this time of year!🩵

We’ve carried on raising money for charity post-pumpkin season, taking part in the Arundel Illuminated Tractor Run yesterday for & !🚜🧡

Our Sompting Pumpkins residents Tiny Tina and Vincent had an evening out on the town!🐑🎄They were very happy to meet everyone whilst eating their hay and are happy to have some winter sun today!🌞
