Maybe we should have built a padel court, the number of people asking about it lately!

Instead, we’ve created something we think you’ll love even more, a much-needed outdoor space…

It’s still a work in progress and will really come together once the planting and signage is done, the original Bierkeller tables from Munich give it a proper authentic feel - and yes we have more events coming this year!
We’ve got some exciting plans for this area, so keep your eyes peeled 👀

ALTERNATIVE MILK RANT!

There’s something really outrageous about being charged extra for alternative milk.

Take ‘oats’ for example - about as basic as it gets, yet somehow it turns your coffee into a premium purchase. You order like a normal person, and suddenly your drink costs 50p more - just for having preferences!

Worse if you’re lactose intolerant, you’re not choosing alternative milk for fun - you’re avoiding physical consequences and still getting penalised for it. Like your digestive system has quietly signed you up for a subscription fee.

And the real kick in the teeth here is you might actually LIKE oat milk! So now you’re paying extra not just out of necessity, but preference too. At this point, it’s less a surcharge and more a lifestyle tax… one your bank account never agreed to.

To all the cafes charging for alternative milk, we see you.
Oh and we have done the maths, and the extra cost for an Oat Latte is less than 10p….
