Join us at Slowhayes Alpacas for a magical evening beneath the Strawberry Moon.

Hosted by Linda from Slowhayes Alpacas in the New Forest and Jen from New forest, nature and nurture, this special gathering is an invitation to slow down, reconnect, and rest in nature.

We’ll begin with a gentle wander through the meadows, taking in the wildflowers, trees, and local wildlife, before settling into a peaceful guided meditation surrounded by the sights, sounds, and scents of a summer evening.

As the sun sets across the meadows and woodland, enjoy delicious food and a drink provided around the fire pit, with the alpacas grazing nearby in the calm beauty of the farm. As daylight fades, we’ll spend time moon-gazing together, noticing the quiet shift from day to night as we honour and celebrate the Strawberry Full Moon.

An evening of nature, stillness, connection, and simple magic.

Today it's windy and raining but the sheep are still smiling. Our Herdwick sheep also known as the smiley sheep managed to put a smile on our lovely guests this morning . Ben in particular who loves the attention enjoyed his massage and chat and treats.

Whilst it wasn't the best weather today, it was still lovely to meet people, chat and of course give Ben the attention that Ben deserves.

Our sheep experience is a great opportunity to just be you, meet the sheep, relax and chat and just be yourself.

Another very special day today with New Forest Wellbeing CIC, lovely people came for a walk with the alpacas but it was so much more than that. A chance for people to make new friends, chat, be in and out of their comfort zone, learn something new and do something different in nature. Thank you for coming out and being you .

When you walk an alpaca here at Slowhayes Alpacas in the New Forest it's an opportunity to get out in nature and do something special with friends and family . Yesterday we had this lovely family who came to walk an alpaca followed by an afternoon tea. They all had fun creating memories to treasure.

A very hot day today but we had an afternoon tea, the tables were set up under the trees for shade and the alpacas could graze in the shade too. Everyone fed the alpacas afterwards and had a lovely time. Here are some photos of our lovely guests feeding the alpacas afterwards.

Today we walked the alpacas. Arthur led the way, kind of......and we had some more lovely guests. Thank you to Liz our volunteer for keeping him on the straight and narrow 🤣

Tomorrow they get their haircuts just in time for the hot weather.
