We wanted to share something really touching.

After our recent post about the fake notes we’d been receiving, an anonymous member of our community came in today with a note and a generous contribution to help towards the loss.

Their kindness has really moved us. Thank you, whoever you are, for reminding us what a special community we’re part of.

Morning everyone, a quick heads up from the shop - We’ve had quite a few fake notes come through recently, and it’s left us out of pocket by a couple of hundred pounds! ☹️

For a small business like ours, that’s a big hit. So for now, if you’re paying with cash, please don’t be offended when we double check all notes. It might slow things down slightly but we’ll be as quick as we can.

We really don’t want to, but if this keeps happening, we may have to go cashless just to protect the business.
