Absolutely stunning line-up of wines, the theme of Old World Grapes from the New World led to a brilliant range from bubbles from Brazil, Zesty Riesling from BioBio Chile, Chardonnay from Hawes Bay, NZ, Chardonnay The Site from South Africa, Semillion from Barossa, Off-dry Riesling from VIC, Akitu Pinot Noir 2016 Central Otago, Cabernet Franc from Argentina, 2 x Pampa Malbecs, Pengolds 2012 RWD Barossa Shiraz, The McRae Wood Shiraz, Clare Valley, Juanico Tannat from Uruguay, Faith (Cape Blend) SA, Frei Brothers Cab Sav, Sonoma.

Probably the best line-up so far 😉 so much variety and fantastic wines 🥂🍷🩷

Sometimes you’ve just got to make time for a long lunch…! So lovely to start the long weekend on a Thursday 😉 and dive into the mini-Gastro menu , soaking up the sun and appreciating being able to take time out… followed by my favourite local pink fizz from aka Chinkapin and very excited to find it also on the drinks menu in Southbourne! Have a fantastic weekend everyone! ☀️🩷😎🥂

Our monthly wine catch up always brings nice surprises! The theme of Mediterranean Whites and Rosés was no exception, some outstanding wines were sipped and wine life shared. I was doubly excited to find a suitable music link 🎶 😂

Better days involve excellent food and wines, and a great bunch of qualified WSET students! A cheers to how far everyone has come, some started with WSET Level 1, everyone has passed Level 2, and it just creates a great vibe for food and drink conversations. More Please! A huge thank you to Nicolas from .wines for making the journey down from London to Dorset to share the passion, heritage, and craft behind Mil Volcanes and his family’s winery 🍷

We explored a beautiful lineup:
White - Sauvignon Blanc / Torrontés blend
Reds: Mil Volcanes Malbec
Single Vineyard Cabernet Franc
Single Vineyard Malbec

All perfectly paired with a velvety celeriac & truffle velouté, followed by Jan’s (perfectly cooked - obvs!!) legendary Beef Wellington 👌

Great wine, incredible food, and even a moonlit seascape to top it all off 🌙🌊
