We’re heading to Lavenham Craft & Foodie Market this Sunday! 🍺

Blackwater Brewing Company will be there pouring pints throughout the day, alongside a brilliant mix of food, drink, art, jewellery, ceramics, plants and more.

There’s also a Classic Car Show taking place on the playing fields, so there’s plenty to make a day of it.

What does Single Malt, Single Hop actually mean? 🍺

It’s a stripped-back approach to brewing - using one malt and one hop variety to give each ingredient the chance to show its character, rather than building the b**r around lots of different additions.

For Man of Gold, El Dorado takes centre stage, bringing vibrant fruit-forward character with notes of watermelon, guava and soft stone fruit. Underneath, a light extra pale malt base keeps things clean and crisp without overpowering the hop.

The result is a bright, refreshing 3.9% b**r that’s full of flavour while remaining highly sessionable.

Join us on Friday 28th August, 6–8pm for the launch of Man of Gold, our new 3.9% Single Malt Single Hop Pale Ale.

To celebrate its first pour, enjoy £1 off Man of Gold throughout Hoppy Hour and kick off the first evening of StarFest with something new on tap.

This Saturday, we’re partnering with The Tipsy Grey, who’ll be pouring two Blackwater favourites throughout the day:

🍺The Tide Turner – 4.5% | A classic American Pale Ale

With 80+ stalls, games, local artists and entertainment, there’s plenty happening along Witham River Walk.
