We’ll be open from 2pm before closing from 6pm for a private party tonight.

Our little bar might be tiny, but over the years we’ve hosted everything from first birthdays and baby showers to engagement parties, networking events and team get-togethers.

Sun’s out. Southsea’s busy. The cocktails are cold.

We’re back open from 2pm today and our After Work Club is back from 4–6pm, serving classic cocktails for £7.50.

If you’ve finished work early, fancy avoiding the housework, or just need an excuse for a Friday drink, we’ll be here.

Just a heads up, we’re closing from around 6pm tomorrow for a private party, so make the most of it today.

WE WON! 🏆

Three years open. Three awards.

Southsea Spirit has been named Best Bar in Hampshire & the Isle of Wight for the third year running at the Muddy Stilettos | Hampshire & Isle of Wight Awards.

To say we’re grateful would be an understatement.

Thank you to every single person who voted, visited us, recommended us to a friend, celebrated with us, came to an event, brought their dog, or simply made our little bar part of their life.

A huge thank you to our team, past and present, who work so hard to make Southsea Spirit what it is.

And the biggest thank you goes to my sister, Charlotte. While I’ve been busy navigating being a new mum, she’s been holding the fort, leading the team, looking after our customers and keeping everything moving forward.

When we started this journey with a mobile bar, a bottle of gin and a big idea, we never imagined we’d be here.

Southsea Spirit has always been about people. The community that has grown around this little bar is what makes it special, and we’re chuft to bits that so many of you choose to spend your time with us.

Congratulations to all of the other finalists and winners too. It’s lovely to see so many local businesses recognised and celebrated.

Another magic weekend at Southsea Spirit — tables full of mates, music and good vibes all weekend!

Special shout out to Pork Soda for soundtracking Friday night, and the lovely Irene, who visited us on Saturday afternoon for a coconut marg.

At 93 years old, Irene was recently named Inspirational Elder of Portsmouth at the awards, and honestly, what a woman! An absolute joy to sit and listen to, full of stories, warmth and proper Portsmouth spirit.
