Stoneware by Min (family friend) with succulents & wood turned lids by .keim (Gaia’s dad). Find them near the candles just inside the shop.

We’ve got a raffle!!! Epic prize from Charlie Mackesy (signed print & book) and a £100 hamper put together by us The Tuck Shop - tickets are a £1 each and needs to be paid in cash (but we can do cash withdrawals with a debit card in the shop).
Tickets will also be on sale at the performances next week (tickets for the performances available via the Thorington Theatre website)

Recipe Book Competition!
Entries wanted for a new Walberswick Community Cookbook - recipes from all age groups are welcome!

Please submit your entry to The Tuck Shop via [email protected] or in person, by August 31st.

With an introduction by Emmafreud , the book will go on sale in the Autumn and all profits will go to the RNLI. The book already has lots of local recipes, being brought together by Jill Whittenbury’s daughter Claire (Jill wrote the original Walberswick RNLI cookbook in the 80s), and Matt Parkes, great nephew of Derrick Allen, of Mary’s Restaurant and Tearooms.
The ten best recipes will be included in the book.
The recipe categories are:
•Cast Off - Breakfast and brunch
•On the Shore - small plates, snacks and sharing
•On the Side - salads and accompaniments
•The Deep - fish and seafood mains
•The Land - meat, veggie and hearty mains
•The Larder - sauces, pickles and ferments
•The Sweet Spot - puddings and bakes
