Apparently I can leave the country and the cake cabinet still looks this good… mildly offensive, really 🤣🍰

Seriously though, I’m so lucky to have such an amazing team keeping everything running and looking gorgeous while I’m off gallivanting in Spain 🇪🇸☀️

Missing them all loads and I’ll be back annoying everyone tomorrow evening and enjoying a slice of pistachio traybake 🫶🏼😂

Okayyyy, I’ve been a little bit MIA again… sorry! 😂❤️

Friday was taken up with a big private event, Saturday turned into a bit of an unexpected one (although our little community were absolutely AMAZING 🫶🏼) and then today… I may have accidentally flown to Spain 🇪🇸😂

I booked a flight Friday morning and decided a couple of days away in the sunshine were very much needed ☀️🍹

The team are holding the fort, I’ll be back very soon and normal Facebook spam will resume 😂

Just a little reminder that Maddie’s Bistro & Bakery at The White Hart Hotel is CLOSED to the public today while we host a private function. 🤍

🍽️ All being well, we’ll reopen our doors at 6PM for evening food and bar drinks, right through until 9PM! 🍻

So please don’t make a wasted journey this morning/afternoon — we’ll hopefully see you tonight instead! 🥰

🚨 STOP WHAT YOU’RE DOING… TERRY’S MINT CHEESECAKE HAS ENTERED THE BUILDING. 🚨🍫💚

The cake cabinet is looking dangerously good today 🤤 plus we’ve got a few Rum & Honey Cheesecakes boxed up ready to go — takeaway if you want, or sit here and demolish one. We don’t judge 😂

We also had Cooper’s birthday meal here last night 🥳 I had the steak and OMG… it was DELICIOUS 🤤🥩 Tanya & Ollie absolutely did us proud in the kitchen, especially as it was Ollie’s last shift with us! ❤️

Today, Martin’s here, Josh is holding the fort right through until 8:30pm, then tonight Dec’s in the kitchen, Sylvia’s on the bar and Kenny will be floating around doing a bit of everything! 🍻🍴

Meanwhile, I’m escaping to Notts for a few hours to see Liv 👯‍♀️😂

✨ HAPPY WEDNESDAY! ✨

Apparently I decided 6:30am was a perfectly reasonable time to start work this morning 😂 So I’ve cleaned, sorted, filled the cake cabinet, been to the butchers AND somehow squeezed in an 8 mile run 🏃🏼‍♀️🍰

I’m now at home attempting to make myself look vaguely presentable before heading straight back up to the pub… because sitting down is not part of today’s schedule 😂

It’s been a VERY weird few days with approximately 947 things going on behind the scenes, so I am more than ready to see some lovely, happy faces this afternoon 🥰

The cake cabinet is FULL, the coffee is flowing and I’ll be there shortly — probably slightly stressed, slightly chaotic, but still smiling 😂☕️🍰

A little insight into my day off… 🐑🌾☀️

For the first time in what feels like FOREVER, I’ve had a day off that has actually involved… very little. 😂

Wandered around the farm, annoyed/cuddled various animals, hung out with Ed for a couple of hours, walked the dogs and generally just pottered about doing absolutely nothing productive.

Coffee, yoghurt, sunshine, animals and no running around like a lunatic for once. 😂

Back to reality at 7pm when I have to complete a 17km run, but will I do it? 🤨😂❤️

🌞 HAPPY TUESDAY! 🌞

I’m actually at home farm-sitting today while mumma & pappa head off to Nottingham… so it’s just me, two bassets, the alpacas, goats, sheep, chickens and the rest of the madhouse. Nice relaxing day then 😂🐐🦙🐔

Meanwhile, Joshua, Tanya & the team are holding the fort at The White Hart and are ready and waiting for you! 🫶🏼

We put on a lovely spread for a party last night, and after a very busy Bank Holiday weekend, we’re straight into another busy week!

🍴 Evening meals this week: Thursday, Friday & Saturday. BOOKING IS RECOMMENDED 📍

⚠️ PLEASE NOTE: We will be CLOSED during the daytime on Friday 4th September for a private event, reopening for the evening.

Right… better go and check everyone is still where I left them 😂🐑

I was absolutely going to post first thing this morning… but you lot had other ideas 😂 You’ve kept us SO busy I haven’t had a chance!

We’ve got Malted Milk Cheesecake and Bounty Cheesecake in the cabinet today, they’re selling quick so be fast if you fancy a cheeky slice 😋🍰

I’ve managed to sneak off to Skegness for a couple of bits AND squeeze in a 4.5 mile run 🏃🏼‍♀️ and now I’m heading straight back to help get tonight’s buffet ready… because apparently sitting still isn’t an option 🤣

We’re here and around until 9:30pm tonight 🙌🏼
