This pig is a bit of a star! We were just about ready to wean her piglets when unfortunately the pig in the pen next door had some sort of an accident and was unable to use her back legs. This meant we had to have her put to sleep but she had 4 week old piglets. That is when Crocus stepped in and after rearing her own litter she has looked after these for 4 weeks too. Pigs are amazing about adopting other pig’s piglets. These ones are now ready to wean.

All of our products are priced based on weight so these will vary a bit depending on the size of packs

We have been asked about the prices of our frozen meat box offers so here is an example of box 1 and box 2.

Prices do vary a bit as we sell our products on weight so a larger joint for example will make the price of the box slightly more.

After a rather difficult September on the farm, we were really pleased that one of the Gloucester old spots had her litter of piglets on Saturday. 9 lovely piglets were born and we were rather relieved too. Our relief was short lived however as on Sunday morning, we found that the pig had had a uterine prolapse (photo in the comments but please don’t look if you are squeamish). A visit from the vet to put it back in and hopefully, fingers crossed, she will be okay. So far so good!
