My dislike of mowing the grass is once again reinforced by another mechanical problem half way through ðŸ˜Ą

I thought the washers on the banjo bolt weren't doing their job... turns out it was just the entire fitting splitting apart ðŸ˜Ą

Luckily I've got a spare from last year when the fuel tap was leaking.

I must have walked past this tree hundreds of times over the last few years and only today did I notice that it is covered in ivy... not a big deal right? Except that I spent the next hour looking at thousands of trees in the surrounding area and couldn't find a single one with any ivy on it. This kind of thing intrigues me and makes me want to know the why/how etc.

I spend a lot of time just slowly walking around the land looking at the floor... I find it incredible to see how differ...

I spend a lot of time just slowly walking around the land looking at the floor... I find it incredible to see how different species are popping up after the old plantation conifers were clear felled. Large parts of the land haven't seen direct sunlight in decades and now all sorts of cool things are sprouting.

How many species are growing in that single stump? It's awesome to see and very humbling.

Still got an air leak somewhere in the tractor fuel system and the blades on the mower are mangled so I stopped after about 20mins 😅 I'm sure I'll learn to love it one day but not today...

I finally got a bridge built so that I can drive the tractor down to the field without going out onto the road... all done by eye using repurposed materials. The only cost was a tank of chainsaw fuel and a box of timber screws 😁

Once I had tested it by driving the tractor over it a few times all that was left to do was get the doggy seal of approval 😆

I forgot to post these pics from a productive day clearing windblown trees that came down in December.
The G660 Pro and my latest G366 did some good work that day.
I'll be toasty warm next winter for sure!
