📣 Job Vacancy: Full-Time Shepherd – 10,000 Store Lambs
📍 Location: Near St Andrews, Scotland
🕓 Position Type: Full-Time (potentially part time)

We are looking for a capable and motivated Full-Time (potentially could suit a part time) shepherd to take responsibility for the care and management of 10,000 store lambs on a progressive livestock and arable farm near St Andrews.
🔧 Job Role & Responsibilities:
All sheep handling tasks including vaccinating, weighing, drafting, dosing, foot bathing and clipping using modern equipment and handling systems.
Checking of lambs daily.
Setting up/ taking down mobile pens for shifting sheep.
Electric fencing using rappa trailer and quad bike.
Filling sheep hoppers and spreading fodder beet to fields.
✅ Essential Skills & Experience:
Good stockmanship, attention to detail, and a commitment to animal welfare.
Ideally good working knowledge of electric fencing (not essential, training provided).
Ability to work independently and use initiative as well as work with a team.
Reliable and physically fit.
Full driving license.
Working dogs preferred but not essential.
