We are a family run Pick Your Own Farm, Shop and Cafe located at the side of the Trent and Mersey Canal in Great Haywood - a beautiful part of Staffordshire. We are committed to sourcing high quality, food and drink from farms and producers within a 30 mile radius of our home, whilst continuing to produce our own fruit, garden vegetables and bedding plants right here on the Farm. nd, our Farm Shop offers a wide range of tasty products for all dietary needs; our Cafe serves home cooked seasonal meals from 'field to plate; our seasonal Plant Centre sells beautiful plants and hanging baskets lovingly nurtured in our own glass house; and we offer 'Pick Your Own' strawberries, raspberries and blackberries during summertime and pumpkins for Halloween! We have some lovely walks and cycle rides which start and finish on our farm, plus host a range of family events throughout the year from murder mystery suppers to creative nature based workshops.

🎃PUMPKIN PICKING TICKET RELEASE DAY FRIDAY 4TH SEPTMEBER! 🎃

The wait is finally over and TOMROROW at 10am our pumpkin picking tickets will go on sale for all our PUMPKIN PICKING sessions!

Please check out our website for information regarding all our events including our late night sessions with street food vendors and additional entertainment! And for those of you wanting less of the crowds and noise but the same pumpkin picking fun then we have new this year quieter sessions too...

Whenever you choose to visit us we look forward to welcoming you for some spooky fun down on the Farm this October!

🎃 PUMPKIN PICKING TICKET RELEASE DATE 🎃

TOMORROW is our EARLY ticket release day for all customers using our LOYALTY APP, Wednesday 2nd September.

So, if you are a Loyalty App Member set your alarms and click on our app from 10am tomorrow to gain early access to all sessions of our Pumpkin Picking Events for 2026.

For all other valued customers, tickets will go on sale from Friday 4th September from 10am via our website.

Our website has more information about our events this year, but take a look at the photos on this post for a brief description of the different sessions we have to choose from.

* Please note - Children aged 2 and under go free & do not need a ticket. Our early tickets can only be accessed via our Loyalty App, Gather at Canalside Farm, and not directly through the website.

🍂AUTUMN IS ON THE WAY🍂

Whilst we are pleased to see a bit of sunshine, cosy season is well and truly here at Canalside Farm! All our beautiful new autumnal pieces are now in and looking fabulous.

Whilst we don’t want the summer to end we are also very much looking forward to getting cosy this autumn and enjoying a PSL or two. With lots of exciting things to come, including our annual pumpkin picking experience!

Our Pick Your Own Experience is now closed.

Those of you who are very observant or eager to keep up with the goings on at Canalside Farm may have noticed our NEW WEBSITE (exciting!). As we are just in the process of launching this we are unable to edit out Farm opening information for today- we are sorry about this! So although it currently says open on our website we are in fact CLOSED Tuesday 1st September. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

We are ready to embrace cosy season here at Canalside Farm after having received the first delivery of some of our wonderful cosy, autumnal home décor.

We have cushions and throws in beautiful autumnal hues, perfect for settling down this autumn.

If you enjoy Halloween as much as we do, we have lots of lovey Halloween decorations from the most extravagant pink witches hat you ever did see to smaller more delicate pieces perfect for adding those little spooky touches to your home.

We are excited to announce that as a thank you for all the support we have received regarding the recent introduction of our NEW loyalty app, we will be releasing our Pumpkin Picking Experience tickets EARLY for all our loyalty app users!

To grab your tickets early and get first choice of all dates and times available please make sure (if you haven't already) you have downloaded our app and signed up. You can do this by searching for Gather at Canalside Farm in your App Store & filling in your details.

Then simply open the app on Wednesday 2nd September at 10am & there will be a message with a link to exclusive booking.

General release tickets will go live on Friday 4th September at 10am, all dates and times will be available to book including NEW for this year our quieter sessions.

If you plan on joining us this Bank Holiday weekend here is our opening information.

Our Farm Shop, Cafe & Coffee Hut will all be open as usual.

Whether you are stopping by for an ice cream, heading out on a walk, coming to enjoy breakfast or picking up some delicious treats for tea-time, we look forward to welcoming you to Canalside Farm.

If you plan on visiting our Farm for our Pick Your Own Experience then please do check our website for the most current opening information as this can change daily.
