Its a busy one tomorrow at the H ...

We're serving breakfast and lunch as usual however the car park will be closed from 1pm. Any cars left on will be stuck until it reopens around 8pm. There is additional parking available over the bridge and immediately right in the field which will be signposted. Its only a short walk from us.

Dinner service will be a little different tomorrow. We are not taking table bookings so it will be walk ins only and we are serving some great options from our main menu but it will be a reduced menu for the evening. We anticipate a lot of people arriving at the same time following the race and we want to get everybody served in good time.

Onto the race! There is still time to dig out those runners and get involved. We can take payment on the day and the race starts at 4pm so arrival shortly after 3pm would give time to get yourself registered and ready to go.

There will be prizes, medal presentations, raffles and live music in the bar once the race is over.

Good luck to everybody that has signed up already! We are building in numbers year on year which is great. And thank you to all the volunteers that have given up their time to marshal and organise such a great event.

There are just 20 days to go until the second . Last year was a huge success and we're looking forward to welcoming returning and new runners to this wonderful 10k (ish) run taking you on a beautiful, largely off-road route, across the Staffordshire countryside with a start and finish at the iconic canal-side country pub The Hartley.

Music, food and celebrations will continue into the evening once the race has finished which makes this event super special! Places are limited and are booking up fast!
