Pop in to browse over 100 hand-picked wines on first floor of a lovingly reconstructed 16th Century barn at Wolseley Bridge, between Stafford and Rugeley. Whether you’re looking for a good bottle to enjoy with a meal or as a special gift for a wine lover, we'll help you find

what you're looking for. Alongside a diverse range of red, white, rosé and sparkling wines you’ll find sherries, ports, selected spirits and beers from local Staffordshire breweries. Snacks, chocolates and some fantastic cards and gifts are also available. Meanwhile, if you are looking to host a wedding, event or party why not ask about our bar service – we offer options to suit a range of requirements, from festivals in a field to dream weddings and smart corporate dos. If we're not open when you drop by call or email us to discuss options - including delivery to your door!

Just in time for the forecast temperature rise we’ve got our hands a limited supply of this fab new rosé from Queen drummer Roger Taylor…

Queen Côtes de Provence Rosé Cuvée Rock n’ Roll 2025 offers a blend of 70% Grenache and 30% Cinsault.

They say:

“Rooted in the heritage of Provence and shaped by a spirit of creativity, the wine opens with wild strawberry and ripe red berry aromas, followed by layers of supple fruit and fresh citrus acidity. The finish is silky, elegant and beautifully balanced, a true signature of great Provence rosé.

The welcome return of an old favourite at ‘The Loft’ - Turning Heads Sauvignon Blanc

They say:
“Pale straw in colour, with a bouquet of ripe gooseberries, herb and nettle and the classic tropical fruit.

“Lovey to enjoy on its own but also a great accompaniment to chicken, turkey and pork along with haddock, bass, cod, salmon, oysters and calamari.”

We say: One of our fave New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs - a real crowd-pleaser with a delicious nose and packed with fruity flavour
