Here at LRC Smallholders we have several animals - chickens, sheep, pigs and highland cows Parking is available in the village car park.

Here at LRC Smallholders we have several animals - chickens, sheep, pigs and highland cows (number change throughout the year)

This is our new page as our original page was hacked and now can't gain access to it. The animals are open to the public to visit and view from the FENCE line, we also sell animal food at our little honesty shop. The animals are scattered across carrbrook making

a nice walk to see the local area. Open 7 days a week. The animals we have on the farm are a mix of pets and of use, our herd of highlands which we are most famous for are for example 80% pet/ breeding stocl and then 20% for meat production which we keep for ourselves and when possible sell some to the public. We also offer Highland cattle experience where you can get hand on with the highlands and get to learn about there history, the breed, brush and cuddle them, take photos, feed and more. As we develop this page more we will add more information again

Christmas Highland beef

After receiving numerous orders we will continuing with organising Christmas highland beef 25-31 days matured, vac packed.
The beef will be ready around the first/second week of December

By all means let me know if you want anything and as usual first come, first serviced.
We are still cheaper than the main sellers of highland meat and despite highland meat being a premium meat some cuts are as cheap as tescos.
I can do a selection pack with one cut of everything or a family pack which can have a couple cuts of each (larger joint) these prices can vary but drop us a message for more details.

Fillet Steak
Sirloin Steak
Rump Steak
Ribeye Steak
Frying Steak
Topside Joint
Silverside Joint
Brisket Joint
Braising Steak
Diced Beef
Shin
Mince

Everything's cut by hand so each cut of steak / joint will be slightly different so cant give exact prices.

Best way to order is for example
Brisket x 1 1.5kg
Rump x 2 steaks
Mince 500g
Like you would do if you walk into a butchers.

Bit early but just putting feelers out if anyone would be interested in some preimum highland beef come the start of December in time for Christmas?
Can send prices and details over.
If I get enough interests then will start getting getting my cows in order.

You might be interested in some highland beef which will be available around 14th August, 28 days matured.
