The Macallan Distil Your World: Paris Edition is the fifth limited-edition release created in collaboration with the Roca brothers of *El Celler de Can Roca*. Crafted to capture the “gastronomic soul” of Paris, this Speyside single malt features a distinctive maturation profile including Cognac casks — a first for The Macallan — adding an extra layer of aromatic elegance and patisserie-like richness.

We were lucky enough to share a true classic at our recent tasting - Château Léoville Poyferré, Saint-Julien 1978. 🍷✨

A beautifully mature Bordeaux that opened with dried cherry, leather, cedar and that unmistakable Left Bank elegance. Still vibrant after all these years, it reminded us why these old Saint-Julien bottles are so special.

🍂 Rare Whisky Spotlight 🍂
A very well-presented 35 Year Old Benromach Single Malt, a limited release from the Benromach distillery. This remarkable whisky was distilled in the early 1980s and matured in first-fill sherry casks, released in two tranches during 2016.

Benromach was mothballed in 1983, and despite being purchased a decade later by Gordon & MacPhail, it wasn’t operational again until 1998. This bottling predates that 18-year gap — a rare snapshot of the distillery’s original character. The smart, elegant packaging pays tribute to its history, echoing the dark-grained wooden washbacks, polished stills, and lime-washed walls of the Speyside site.

Founded at the end of the 19th century, Benromach spent much of its life providing malt for the blends of various owners — from Macdonald Greenlees to Joseph Hobbs and later DCL (now Diageo), who first bottled Benromach as part of the Rare Malts Selection. After its closure in 1983, Gordon & MacPhail revived the distillery from its very foundations, and it has since become one of Speyside’s most respected names.
