What a fantastic morning filming with Paul Hollywood and introducing him to Wigan! ❤️

We were his first stop on a visit to some of the fantastic local businesses here in Wigan today. We can’t say much more just yet… but this is a morning we won’t forget! 🤫

What a year it’s been! From winning multiple awards, to being invited to Parliament, and now welcoming Paul Hollywood into our shop!

All from doing what we’ve always done — working hard to give our customers the very best products we can. To have that recognised like this means the world to us. ❤️

Thank you to our brilliant team and all of you who support us week in, week out. And to everyone who came down this morning — thank you for giving Paul a proper Standish welcome! 🥧

✨ HAPPY MONDAY! ✨

We’ve got a BIG week ahead as we prepare to welcome a very special guest to our Standish shop this Saturday morning! 👀🎥

Looking back at where it all began, we honestly can’t believe how far we’ve come! ❤️

📸 Photo 1 – 2011: Our very first butcher’s shop in Blackrod, complete with a cow outside and the farmer from Ashworths Farm, where we sourced much of our meat!

📸 Photo 2 – 2026: Fast forward 15 years to our beautiful Standish shop today! A shop that thousands of customers visit every single week, and something we are so incredibly proud of! ❤️

We were just 17 and 18 years old when we started our little butcher’s shop, and we could never have imagined the journey it would take us on.

2026 has been an absolutely incredible year for us! From the Great British Pie Awards, to Parliament, and now getting ready to welcome a familiar face from our TV screens who wants to feature our butcher’s shop in their show! 📺🥧

It’s moments like these that make all the long hours, late nights and hard work over the years so worthwhile.

We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built, but none of it would be possible without our amazing team and all our wonderful customers who have supported us along the way. ❤️

From a little butcher’s shop in Blackrod to opportunities we could only have dreamed of 15 years ago… what a journey!

And this Saturday, our very special guest will be visiting us at Standish! 🤫🎥

We can’t wait to share more with you all, but for now, our lips are sealed!
