BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND! 🎉

We’ve just returned from a lovely couple of days spent with family enjoying tasty food from the Meat & Tatie Shed! 😋

We enjoyed BBQ minute and peppered steaks, chicken fillets marinated in Charlie & Ivys marinade, sausages, chilli, steak and red onion burgers, pork burgers and shawarma beef skewers!

We also enjoyed some nice tipples plus a family walk to Trollers Gill.

The weather was mixed it’s fair to say but much fun was had!

The fun continues today at Kilnsey Show and then school starts tomorrow! Wooohooo! 🥳

Thank you for a fantastic week at the farm shop folks.. we were mown out with you fabulous lot! 🙏💕

Well the Farmer and his wife had a fab night out last night at Elsworth at the Mill annual HOE DOWN!

AFTERNOON OFF! 🍦🍨🍧🐄🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒💐💕

We managed to drag Farmer Dan away from the farm to go visit another farm! 🤣

We recently visited the fab team at Brymor Ice Cream Parlour & Brymor Ice Cream! 🍦

We had such a lovely afternoon meeting the team, tasting their array of ice creams including 30 different flavours, seeing the animals, having a bite to eat and playing in the park!

We also enjoyed picking wild flowers and despite the hot weather we’re still in bloom and only £3 for a bunch!

Brymor is located 5 miles outside Masham, North Yorkshire and is a great day out for the kids

Their ice cream is so creamy due to using milk from Jersey cows 🐄😋

Afterwards we visited Jervaulx Abbey which is right next door to Brymor..

What a peaceful, restful place to sit and wander around exploring.. ⛪️

Team Tommo loved their afternoon off all together ! 💕

Brymor icecream is available at the Meat & Tatie Shed in many different flavours including dog ice cream!

SATURDAY NIGHT CHILL NIGHT! 😎🍗🍖🏝️

Us Thompsons enjoyed some downtime last night with The Blackwells from the fabulous Herd & Hive Ltd 🐝🍯

Like us Libby & Ollie work super hard running their own business plus farming.

It’s just nice when stockist and supplier come together both from family farms and as friends to enjoy some very much needed downtime.. 💕

Though we arrived very late and Ollie and Libby had to unload straw but we managed a good hours catch up! 🤣🍺

We all enjoyed a yummy BBQ supplied by us of course!

🤣 Our tasty homebred beef burgers, boneless chicken thigh fillets, chipolatas and thick pork sausages were on the menu!

Many thanks to Terry, Andrew and Matthew for the invite and cooking! 🌭🍔🔥🙏
