Breaking The Cycle

Are you going to give it your all… just because it’s January and that’s what you always do?

Or are you ready to break the cycle and make this the year you get to target?

Because there’s a difference between starting strong and starting right.

Going all-in for a few weeks, burning yourself out, feeling restricted, then sliding back into old habits, that’s not failure, it’s a pattern. And patterns don’t change unless we do.

This year doesn’t need extremes.

It needs consistency.

Honesty.

Patience.

And choices you can live with in February, March, and beyond.

Target isn’t reached by perfection.

It’s reached by showing up even when motivation dips.

By learning instead of quitting.

By doing things differently when the old way hasn’t worked.

So ask yourself today:

👉 Am I repeating what I’ve always done…

or am I ready to do what actually what works?

...but let's be honest for a second.

Was it the plan……..or fear of fully using it?

* You didn't use your SWIPS (formally known as syns). Not because you didn't want them, but because you were scared they'd slow you down. SWIPS aren't a mistake. They're there to create balance, flexibility and real life.

* You treated it like a diet, not a lifestyle

"I'Il just do this until the weight comes off..!

But Slimming World works best when it fits your life, not when life is put on hold.

*It didn't fail you! The plan works when you use all of it. Free Food, Healthy Extras, SWIPS. Balance is where progress lives

** You thought struggling meant you were failing. So when it felt hard you assumed it wasn't working. But learning, adjusting and asking for support is the process, not a sign to quit.

You did it alone. You skipped group.

You didn't ask for help. You thought you should know better by now. Support isn't a weakness, it's part of the plan.

* You forgot why you started. When motivation dipped the reason got lost.

But your why didn't disappear, it just needs reminding.

Meet our members:

Back in July 2024, I started my Slimming World journey with my daughter. I was unhappy with my weight and knew I needed to make changes to improve my health. I had done Slimming World before, but over time I slipped back into my old eating habits. Deep down, I knew that if I truly wanted things to be different this time, I needed real and lasting change.

Since then, I have reached my target weight and lost an incredible 5 stone. I am immensely proud of what I have achieved. This journey hasn’t just been about weight loss, but about learning healthier habits and proving to myself that I can stay committed. Finding Michelle’s group on a Wednesday played a huge part in my success and helped me stick to the plan, even when things felt challenging.

As I move forward, my focus is on maintaining these new habits and leaving the old ones behind for good. I am so grateful to Michelle and the wonderful group for their support, encouragement, and motivation throughout my journey. I truly couldn’t have done this without them.

Meet our members:

I started my journey October 2024 for the 2nd time.
Reson for walking through them doors was to get healthier for my 2 children. I needed to get healthier to give them the best version of me.

Never in a million years did I think I'd nearly be at target within a year and have to move my target even further.
Michelle has been the best support and helped me every step along my journey.
I'm now over 7.5 stone down and have a new lease of life.
I cant wait to see what my slimming world future looks like
